Major Transfers Ordered With Immediate Effect
Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem has ordered the transfer and posting of 15 police officers across the province. The changes were announced through an official notification issued by the Punjab Police on Monday.
According to the notification, the transfers and postings will take effect immediately. The new appointments will remain in force until further orders.
Operations, Intelligence and Investigation Posts Changed
Zahid Nawaz Marwat, a BS-19 officer, has been transferred from AIG Operations at the Central Police Office Punjab. He has been posted as SSP at the Police School of Intelligence in Lahore.
Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as AIG Operations at the Central Police Office Punjab. He will replace Zahid Nawaz Marwat.
Saad Afridi has been posted as SP Investigation in Nankana Sahib. Shaukat Ali Sheikh has been transferred from SP Investigation Nankana Sahib and posted as Additional Director Central-I, SPU Punjab, Lahore.
Muhammad Nauman Zafar has been appointed Additional SP Sadar Division, Multan. Muhammad Munir Badar has been transferred from the same post and appointed SP Investigation, Lodhran.
More Officers Posted Across Punjab
Zafar Javed Malik has been appointed SP Operations-DIC3 in Okara District. He will also perform duties at PPIC-3 Lahore.
Hassan Raza has been posted as SSP RIB Multan Region. Muhammad Essa Khan has been appointed Deputy Director Administration, Elite Police Force Punjab. Farrukh Javed has been posted as SP Investigation Bahawalpur.
Syed Jamshaid Ali has been appointed Battalion Commander 3, Police Constabulary Multan. Jahandad Akram has been posted as SP CCD Dera Ghazi Khan Region.
Aadil Aamir has been transferred to the Central Police Office Punjab in Lahore. Raza Ullah Khan has been posted as SP Operations-DIC3 in Jhang District. He will also look after the office of SSP Operations IC3 Faisalabad Region.
