Punjab has opened a major recruitment drive for female nurses, with 1,958 Charge Nurse positions available across the province.
The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) announced the vacancies under Advertisement No. 10/2026. The Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department will make the appointments.

Educational Qualification for Charge Nurse Posts

Alternatively, applicants with a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery can also apply. However, they must also hold valid PNC registration.

Age Limit and Domicile Requirements
The vacancies are open to female and female transgender candidates with a domicile from any district of Punjab.
Selected candidates may be posted anywhere within the province. Therefore, applicants should be prepared for placement according to departmental requirements.
Female candidates must be between 21 and 28 years old. An additional eight-year age relaxation applies, taking the maximum age limit to 36 years.
