Seven vacancies available in Lahore and Rawalpindi as PMA sets August 15 deadline for online applications
LAHORE: The Punjab Masstransit Authority (PMA) has announced seven government job opportunities in Lahore and Rawalpindi, offering monthly salaries ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs480,000.
The authority is recruiting a Director Operations for the Orange Line Metro Rail Transit System in Lahore, a Deputy Director IT for the Pakistan Metro Bus System in Rawalpindi and five drivers in Lahore. Candidates can submit applications until August 15, 2026.
The Director Operations position carries the highest monthly gross salary of Rs480,000. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering or Civil Engineering with relevant transportation courses from an HEC-recognised institution.
Moreover, candidates need at least eight years of relevant professional experience, while experience managing transport-related public projects will receive preference. The maximum age limit is 45 years.
IT Position Offers Rs325,000 Monthly Salary
Meanwhile, PMA will pay Rs325,000 per month to the successful candidate for Deputy Director IT in Rawalpindi.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, completing at least 16 years of education. They also require eight years of relevant experience, particularly involving large-scale IT infrastructure. The age limit is 45 years.
Five Driver Vacancies Available in Lahore
Additionally, PMA has announced five driver positions carrying salaries of Rs60,000 per month. Four seats fall under open merit, while authorities have reserved one for the minority quota.
Driver candidates must have completed at least Middle-level education, possess a valid LTV driving licence recognised by the relevant Punjab authority and remain within the maximum age limit of 40 years.
Interested candidates must apply online through the Punjab Job Portal. PMA will not accept applications submitted through email, courier or by hand.
Applicants must also upload educational transcripts, degrees and relevant experience certificates while completing their online applications.
