PSL 10
As the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 resumes for its final and most thrilling phase, several high-profile international cricketers have confirmed their participation, injecting a renewed sense of excitement and anticipation among fans.
Four prominent overseas stars — David Warner, Alex Hales, Kusal Mendis, and Rassie van der Dussen — have formally announced their return to the league, with more international names expected to follow suit shortly.
David Warner, the Australian batting icon, is set to lead Karachi Kings in the remaining matches of the tournament. Warner’s inclusion is seen as a significant boost for Karachi, given his leadership experience and explosive batting capabilities.
Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis, known for his aggressive top-order play, will rejoin the Quetta Gladiators, strengthening their batting lineup as they look to solidify their position in the points table.
Islamabad United, a franchise known for its competitive spirit and balanced squad, has re-signed two key international players — England’s power-hitter Alex Hales and South African top-order batsman Rassie van der Dussen.
Hales, who was unavailable for the earlier matches due to personal reasons, confirmed via social media that he is ready to travel to Pakistan and rejoin his team. Islamabad United warmly welcomed both players back, expressing confidence in their ability to deliver in the crucial knockout stage.
The list of confirmed international players also includes Ben McDermott, James Vince, Sikandar Raza, Luke Wood, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Max Bryant, and Najibullah Zadran.
While some, like Wood, Bryant, and Kohler-Cadmore, are still awaiting final clearance from their respective cricket boards, other seasoned campaigners such as Colin Munro, Rilee Rossouw, and Sam Billings are expected to confirm their availability soon.
On the logistical front, ticket sales for the remaining PSL matches have officially opened. Tickets can be purchased through the website and outlets of a private courier service. For matches being hosted in Rawalpindi, ticket prices range from PKR 650 to PKR 3,000.
