Four members of the same family were killed in a shooting incident over a property dispute in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district. The incident occurred late Saturday night in the Odeen Kallay area of Domel, according to rescue officials.
Among the victims were a father, his two sons, and another close relative.
Rescue Teams Shift Bodies, Police Launch Investigation
Rescue 1122 medical teams reached the scene shortly after receiving the emergency call. The teams transported the bodies to the Domel Rural Health Centre for legal and medical procedures. According to initial reports, the deadly shooting stemmed from a long-running property dispute.
Meanwhile, Domel police registered a case against two suspects. The case was filed on the complaint of the father of one of the deceased victims. Police have launched an investigation and are working to arrest the accused.
Security Concerns Continue Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The incident comes as security concerns continue to rise across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies, the country’s security situation worsened during May 2026. The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan also expressed concern over deteriorating security conditions in the province.
Earlier this week, two police constables were killed in separate targeted attacks in Bannu.
