Meanwhile, officials have announced comprehensive security measures in light of the current situation. Authorities will strictly prohibit the entry of unrelated individuals into the premises of Parliament House Islamabad.
In addition, the spokesperson confirmed that guests will not be allowed to attend the joint sitting. Lawmakers have also been requested not to bring visitors to the session.
Furthermore, only journalists holding the new valid 2026 press gallery cards issued by the National Assembly and the Senate of Pakistan will receive permission to cover the proceedings.
