Shahid Afridi and National Figures Receive Top Civil Honors
Former cricket captain Shahid Afridi received the Hilal-e-Imtiaz for his outstanding services to sports. Afridi remains one of Pakistanโs most recognized cricket personalities. His achievements on the international stage and contributions to promoting cricket earned praise during the ceremony.
Veteran politician Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan was posthumously awarded the Nishan-e-Imtiaz for his lifelong struggle for democracy. His son, Nawabzada Iftikhar Ahmed Khan, received the award on his behalf.
Renowned writer and humorist Ata-ul-Haq Qasmi was also honored with the Nishan-e-Imtiaz for his contributions to literature and culture. His son, Muhammad Yasir Pirzada, received the award during the ceremony.
The late Irfan-ul-Haq Siddiqui was posthumously awarded the Nishan-e-Imtiaz for services in literature and public affairs. His son Imran Khawar Siddiqui accepted the award.

Liaquat Shaheed was posthumously awarded the Sitara-e-Shujaat for stopping a suicide attack in Kohat. His bravery saved many innocent lives. His brother received the award on behalf of the family.

Shaheed Shah Wali Khan received the Hilal-e-Shujaat for bravery and sacrifice in defense of the country.
Police officials ASI Ijaz Khan Shaheed, Laik Zada Shaheed, Constable Alam Zeb Shaheed, and Constable Muhammad Ijaz Shaheed also received posthumous Hilal-e-Shujaat awards.
Sipahi Azhar Mehmood was honored for displaying extraordinary courage during national duty.

Bahraini diplomat Muhammad Ibrahim Muhammad Abdul Qadir received the Sitara-e-Pakistan for strengthening diplomatic relations and cooperation.
Engineer Jamaluddin Ahmed was honored for his services in engineering and electricity development. Mirza Rizwan Baig received recognition for achievements in science and technology.
Dr. Muhammad Yousaf Khan was awarded for his work in space science and technology. Agricultural scientist Dr. Ameer Muhammad received recognition for contributions to farming and agricultural research.
Professor Dr. Ikram-ul-Haq was honored for his services in education and academic development.
