A pregnant woman was allegedly kidnapped and later found dead in Balochistan’s Awaran district, after her family accused members of the banned Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) of involvement. The family claimed that individuals linked to the group were responsible for the incident, which has raised serious concerns about civilian safety in the area.
Woman Abducted at Gunpoint in Awaran
The victim, identified as Rubina, was reportedly taken away at gunpoint during the night of July 20 and 21. Her father alleged that Akbar, son of Ghani, carried out the abduction with the support of members of Fitna al Hindustan.
The victim’s relatives also made further allegations, claiming that Rubina was sexually assaulted while she remained in captivity. They demanded action against those responsible for the alleged crime.
Rubina’s body was recovered on July 25 from the Kabri Kor Nala area of Awaran district. According to her family, the body showed signs of severe injuries, indicating that she had faced violence before her death.
Family Demands Justice After Woman’s Death
The victim’s father expressed anger and grief over the loss of his daughter. He said Rubina remained missing for four days before her body was found on the fifth day.
He questioned why such an incident occurred and demanded that the people involved should face justice.
Meanwhile, analysts condemned the alleged attack and said violence against civilians, especially women, goes against Baloch traditions and values. They stressed that such acts create fear among communities and damage social harmony.

Furthermore, analysts said those involved in such incidents aim to spread fear among local residents. However, they added that such actions would not help them achieve their objectives. The incident has once again highlighted concerns regarding the protection of civilians in conflict-affected areas. Local communities continue to call for accountability and stronger measures to prevent violence against innocent people.
