Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has carried out its protest as instructed by founder Imran Khan, with future steps to be determined by Khan himself.
In a statement about the ongoing protests on Saturday, Gandapur said, “We have arrived and registered our protest as per the directions of our founding chairman.” He emphasized that, despite facing accusations, PTI has shown itself to be a peaceful party. The CM noted that although they encountered gunfire and tear gas, they successfully reached their destination to voice their protest.
It is important to mention that PTI’s protest in Islamabad is entering its second day, with conflicting reports regarding the alleged arrest of Chief Minister Gandapur. While PTI leaders claim that police and Rangers attempted to detain him, government sources have denied these allegations.
