The PML-Q starts working to close the gap between Imran and the “Powerful Quarters”

Before the upcoming Sunday by-elections in Punjab, the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) is attempting to build a bridge between former prime minister Imran Khan and ‘important quarters.

A report by Dawn claims that some powerful PML-Q members are attempting to mediate disputes between the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and important figures. But so far, no significant progress has been made in this area.

New initiatives have been made in this direction. Khan has been ordered to avoid referring to the army leader in a veiled manner. Ijazul Haq, a prominent politician and former federal minister, already acknowledged that intensive attempts are being done to bring Imran Khan closer to the establishment.
