SLAMABAD: PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto says that press in Pakistan faes grave dangers, terrorrism and pressures especially from PTI governmet. He called for lifting the proclaimed and undeclared checks enforced on the Pakistani media.
“Imran Khan-drove PTI system has choked the media to conceal its wrongness, inadequacy and sheer disappointments in each area and a few autonomous writers and telecasters have been coercively taken off TV screens, driving them to take to online media to communicate their autonomous investigation and sentiments,”
the PPP administrator said in his message on World Press Freedom Day.
Bilawal brought up that the PPP has been at the cutting edge of supporting press opportunity in Pakistan and previous leader Benazir Bhutto had abrogated the draconian press laws forced by Zia’s oppressive system.
