It is in the possession of the Chief Justice and has been seen by the President and the Army Chief. The party argued that the supposed confession made by Azam Khan, the former principal secretary to the Prime Minister, is unreliable as it contains numerous inconsistencies.

In a forceful and strongly-worded response to the alleged “confessional statement” made by Azam Khan, the former principal secretary to the Prime Minister who has been missing since June 17, PTI spokesman Rauf Hassan expressed skepticism about the authenticity of the statement. Furthermore, the PTI spokesman criticized the revelation of Azam Khan’s supposed confessional statement before his recovery, emphasizing that it was highly unusual and legally questionable to record a statement under Section 164 of the criminal procedure code from a missing person in front of a magistrate.

Rauf Hassan also condemned the act of disclosing the contents of a 164 statement of a missing person, considering it a separate offense in itself.

He drew parallels between Azam Khan’s allege statement and the press conferences held by incarcerated PTI leaders. Suggesting that these leaders were compell to align themselves with certain parties, supposedly backed by influential forces.

In summary, the PTI spokesman vehemently disputed the validity of Azam Khan’s confessional statement, raising doubts about its authenticity and questioning the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and the subsequent release of the statement.
