Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly criticized the ruling party, stating that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lacks the mandate to make decisions unilaterally.
“PML-N’s politics starts with motorways and ends with metro projects,” Bilawal remarked during a press conference in Larkana on Saturday.
The PPP, which governs Sindh, has raised concerns over decisions made by the ruling coalition, particularly regarding VPN registration, ministers’ attendance in the National Assembly, and equitable power-sharing in Punjab despite being a part of the coalition.
Experts have referred to the current government as “PDM 2” and criticized its actions, including the implementation of firewalls, bills related to the extension of service chiefs, and the hastily passed 26th Constitutional Amendment. The amendment, which addressed the appointment of the Chief Justice of Pakistan, was criticized for lacking equal representation among committee members.
However, PML-N has maintained that PPP is still part of the coalition, despite not holding any ministries.
