PM Shehbaz Forms Committee to Address PPP’s Concerns

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has formed a committee aimed at addressing the concerns of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The committee, tasked with engaging the PPP and resolving its issues, includes key figures such as Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Ahad Cheema.

A few days ago, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi to convene an All Parties Conference (APC) to discuss the province’s law and order situation. In a meeting in Karachi, Kundi briefed Bhutto-Zardari on the current law and order situation, while also expressing concerns about the federal government’s “unfair attitude.”

Additionally, the committee will include Amir Muqam, Rana Sanaullah, Malik Ahmed Khan, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Jaffar Mandokhail, and Bashir Ahmed Memon.

The committee has been instructed by the prime minister to hold detailed talks with PPP leadership and formulate a strategy to address their concerns.
