Phones Banned from PTI Meetings Amid Concerns Over Bushra Bibi’s Audio Leak

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has implemented a ban on mobile phones at its meetings, citing concerns over the potential leaking of audio and video recordings involving Bushra Bibi, the wife of party leader Imran Khan.

Sources within the party revealed that special measures are taken when Bushra Bibi attends these meetings, with her participation being carefully managed to avoid any unauthorized recordings. As part of this precaution, mobile phones are confiscated from attendees at the start of meetings.

This policy has reportedly been in place for several meetings now, reflecting PTI’s ongoing concern about the security and privacy of discussions, especially regarding any sensitive content linked to Bushra Bibi.

An audio clip that has gone viral on social media allegedly features Bushra Bibi, the former first lady of Pakistan, reprimanding a man named Inam for taking photographs of items being brought into Bani Gala, the residence of Imran Khan in Islamabad.

In the nearly two-minute-long recording, Bushra Bibi can be heard scolding Inam, who was reportedly the administrator of the residence, over the photographs. The conversation suggests that the photos were taken of items coming into the house, which she disapproved of.

She is heard saying, “The things that came from the Toshakhana, did you ask Akbar to take photos and send them to you?”

When Inam denies this, she presses further, “So why were the photographs taken? Photos of things coming into the house shouldn’t be taken. Only photos of things going out of the house should be taken… Why are photos being taken of things coming to me?”

Inam continues to deny any wrongdoing, insisting that he didn’t tell anyone to take the pictures. Bushra Bibi then references another person, asking if they had sent the photos to Inam.

She sharply asks, “Did you send the pictures to Inam?”

The conversation grows more heated as Bushra Bibi chastises the other individual, saying, “Who takes photos of things coming inside the house? What proof? Did you ask me? What do you mean by ‘sorry’? You guys have made a mockery of this house.”

She further expresses frustration, “The MS trusted us. He didn’t take pictures, so who are you to do so?”

Turning back to Inam, she concludes the exchange with, “And why did he send the pictures to you?” to which Inam responds, “Bibi, I don’t know. I was told these things have come and we’re sending them inside. I said, give it to Bibi, she’ll deal with it.”

Bushra Bibi ends the conversation with a final warning: “What is the point of this? You will not come inside the house from now on. Do you understand?”
