ISLAMABAD, Jan. 21: The Islamabad Capital Territory Local Government Ordinance 2021, the National Rahmatul-Lil-Aalameen Authority Ordinance 2021, and the Pakistan Nursing Council (Emergency Management) Ordinance 2021 were all tabled before the Senate on Friday.(via APP)
Ministers of Science and Technology Syed Shibli Faraz and Minister of Interior handed out the ordinances in the House.
The National Rahmatul-Lil-Aalameen Authority Ordinance, 2021 (No. XXV of 2021) was laid before the Senate by the Minister of Science and Technology Syed Shibli Faraz on behalf of Shafqat Mahmood, Minister for Federal Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture, as required by clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Minister of Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed laid the Islamabad Capital Territory Local Government Ordinance 2021, (No. XXVIII of 2021) as required by clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Syed Shibli Faraz on behalf of Adviser to the Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs Zaheer Ud Din Babar Awan, also brought the Pakistan Nursing Council (Emergency Management) Ordinance before the Senate as mandated by Article 89 of Pakistan’s constitution.
Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture Chairman Irfan ul Haque Saddiqui also presented a special report on the committee’s implementation of findings from an inquiry committee formed by International Islamic University regarding the murder of student Shaheed Syed Tufail-ur-Rehman on December 12th, 2019 and rape of a female student on 17th June 2021.
