One-day physical remand of PTI leader Gandapur granted to police
ISLAMABAD: A local court approved one-day physical remand of PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur in a terrorism and sedition case. Magistrate Naveed Khan gave one-day remand of Gandapur to the police.
The court ordered Islamabad police to present Gandapur in an anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday.
Last week, Police arrested Ali Amin Gandapur after multiple cases were registered against him in Islamabad and Punjab. DI Khan police handed over Gandapur to the Islamabad Capital Territory Police on Saturday.

The prosecutor told the court that Gandapur mentioned the plan to attack Islamabad in the audio linked to the case. He said that the former lawmaker threatened to gather weapons to fight against the police.
Earlier, Police arrested PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur in Dera Ismail Khan. Gandapur is allegedly involved in many cases, including terrorism charges.
D.I. Khan police arrested Gandapur from outside the D.I. Khan bench of the Peshawar High Court. Gandapur took refuge in the premises of the High Court to avoid arrest, but police arrested him.
A heavy contingent of police was present outside the High Court since Thursday morning.
Chairman of PTI Imran Khan condemned the arrest of Ali Amin Gandapur.
Khan tweeted, โToday complete law of the jungle prevails in Pak. PDM & handlers have one-point agenda โ that is to go after PTI workers & leadership. It was decided preemptively to arrest Ali Amin Gandapur despite his bail. But they will still be decimated in the elections InshaAllah.โ
