Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi emphasized the need for collective efforts to uplift the province, urging all stakeholders to work together for its progress.
Speaking on Sunday, Kundi highlighted that in the past, various stakeholders had approached the Chief Minister’s office to ensure peace and stability in the province. He stressed that, moving forward, “everyone must come together for the betterment of the newly emerged districts and the entire province.”
Kundi also announced that an All-Parties Conference (APC) would be held on December 5 (Thursday) to discuss ways to improve the situation in KP.
In related developments, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal recently suggested that Governor’s Rule should be imposed in KP. Iqbal criticized the PTI leadership, stating, “They [PTI leaders] cannot even gather 1,000 people unless they are in power in KP. People have only gone to Islamabad for monetary reasons.”
Iqbal also remarked on the delay of trials by PTI-affiliated lawyers, suggesting that the PTI leadership is seeking an NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance). “It is up to the court to grant bail to the PTI founder, not the government,” he added.
