Indian businessman Sajjan Jindal and his family visited Pakistan over the weekend to attend the wedding celebrations of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s grandson, Zayd Hussain Nawaz.

Sources reveal that Jindal, accompanied by his wife Sangeeta, visited the Sharif family’s residence in Jati Umra, Lahore, to personally congratulate Nawaz Sharif and his family on the occasion of Zayd’s wedding. The visit, which remained low-profile, underscored the cordial relationship between the two families. After spending a few hours in Lahore, Jindal and his family returned to Mumbai on a private plane.

Sajjan Jindal is a well-known industrialist and the chairman of JSW Group, a major multinational conglomerate with operations in steel, energy, and infrastructure.

The wedding celebrations have been grand, with the Sharif family hosting a series of extravagant events in Lahore. The nikkah of Zayd Hussain Nawaz took place on Wednesday night at Jati Umra, marking the start of the festivities. The venue was lavishly decorated, and the ceremony was attended by various guests, including those from India and other countries. The barat ceremony followed on Saturday, with close relatives, political figures, and international guests in attendance, while the walima was held on Sunday at Jati Umra.
