The federal government has decided to register the case against Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam leader Mufti Kifayatullah over his anti-state comments under Article 6, The Truth International learnt reliably.
In this regards, advice has been issued to the Secretary Interior.
The decision to book Mufti Kifayatullah was taken in a meeting of PTI leaders and government’s spokespersons headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
PM Khan advised the government’s spokespersons to effectively respond to the account against Pakistan Army by the opposing parties using PDM’s platform, it was learnt.
Not to forget, Mufti Kifayatullah was arrested in October 2019 by Islamabad’s police for giving provoking remarks against the national institutions.
