Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Dr Shahbaz Gill on Sunday disclosed the final acts of former prime minister Imran Khan as the country’s chief executive.
During his final days in office, Imran Khan authorised Azam Khan’s request to report to the Establishment Division, he stated in a tweet.
Gill reported that the ex-PM complimented Azam on executing his duties with the utmost honesty and effort, according to Gill.
It’s important to remember that the unified opposition in the National Assembly successfully voted a no-confidence resolution against Imran (NA).
Asad Qaiser, the NA speaker at the time, resigned on the floor of the house after the daylong session and urged Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member Ayaz Sadiq to take over as interim speaker before the vote was taken.
174 people voted against the administration in the first round of voting, started by Sadiq. The PTI was ousted from power because of the results of the count.
The ex-ruling party’s breakaway members did not vote on the proposal.
