Police Detain 16 at Faizabad, Islamabad, Amid PTI Protest Efforts

Islamabad: Police have detained 16 individuals from Faizabad as part of ongoing efforts to manage the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protesters in the area. In an attempt to disperse the PTI workers gathered at the site, law enforcement fired aerial shots. Authorities are maintaining strict measures to ensure order amid the ongoing demonstrations.

Gujranwala: PTI supporters marching towards Islamabad for today’s protest clashed with police when officers attempted to arrest PTI’s district president, Mian Arqam. According to police, the protesters became violent, freed Arqam, and fled the scene, escalating tensions between the two sides.

KPK Information Advisor Claims Federal Government Attacked Protest Clearing Machinery

Barrister Saif, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, has accused the federal government of firing at machinery intended to clear obstacles for the PTI protest last night, and even attempting to set it on fire.

Saif stated that PTI successfully thwarted the attempt to sabotage the machinery, ensuring that their protest preparations remain unaffected. He further confirmed that full arrangements have been made to remove any obstacles hindering the protest.

Bushra Bibi Joins Convoy Heading to Islamabad, Confirms Provincial Minister

Provincial Minister Pakhtoon Yar Khan has confirmed that former first lady Bushra Bibi is part of the convoy heading towards Islamabad. He also stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is leading another convoy.

MNA Rai Hassan Nawaz and Two Others Arrested in Chichawatni

Police have arrested MNA Rai Hassan Nawaz, former nazim Rana Mubashir, and former bar secretary Rana Jawad in Chichawatni. According to police officials, the detained individuals have been transferred to the Fatah Sher Police Station in Sahiwal. The arrests occur amid increased security measures in the area.
