Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has made a bold pledge to reinstate student unions in the province, underscoring the vital role of justice in addressing societal issues.
In a recent speech, he stated, “Justice is the key to solving all problems in society,” emphasizing that deprivation can impede national progress. Gandapur voiced concerns about Pakistan’s economic difficulties, noting, “Pakistan is in debt; we cannot make our own decisions.” He stressed the importance of courage and resilience, asserting that “despair after failure should not prevail” and that a competitive and innovative mindset is essential.
The chief minister announced an increase in scholarships for students to enhance educational opportunities and declared that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would soon see the revival of student unions, which he believes will empower the youth and cultivate leadership.
Addressing the theme of self-determination, Gandapur stated that true freedom has yet to be achieved, saying, “We cannot be free until independence and self-determination are realized.” He described the ongoing struggle for genuine liberation as a “war for real freedom,” assuring that this fight will persist for future generations.
In a passionate call to action, he warned that the time for a “decisive battle” is near, stating, “If we don’t come back, read our obituaries.” He highlighted that true nobility is often overlooked in the country, insisting that “blood is red, and red is the color of revolution,” underscoring the urgency for change and the quest for justice for all.
