ISLAMABAD: Azam Khan, former principal secretary to the prime minister disappeared in Islamabad.

His family members have filed a complaint with the Kohsar Police Station today.

Azam Khan, who worked with Imran Khan when he was prime minister, as principal secretary left home on Thursday evening and did not reach home.

Mobile phone of Azam Khan has also been switched off, according to the complaint filed with the police.

When Imran Khan was the prime minister, Azam Khan was his principal secretary and he was considered a very powerful bureaucrat at that time.

What has happened to Azam Khan it is yet not clear.

Police have started an investigation to know the whereabouts of Azam Khan.

Imran Khan condemns

The ex-prime minister shared a First Information Report (FIR) stating, “Azam Khan, who was my Principal Secretary, has gone missing since last evening.”

The PTI chairman alleged that individuals close to him are being targeted.
