LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan today asserted that another audio of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz is surfacing very soon.
Speaking at an event in Lahore, Khan in the next audio Maryam could be heard informing her father Nawaz Sharif that PTI chairman will soon be disqualified in the Toshakhana reference.
Khan said, “If they had a little shame, they would have resigned after their audio leaks.”
“As PM Shehbaz Sharif and his ministers are not resigning, we will have to force them out,” Khan added.
Earlier, PTI Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry demanded of the government probe the audio leaks from the Prime Minister’s House.
Since last week, three audios have been leaked involving PM Shehbaz and Maryam Nawaz at the centre of the controversy.
The latest leaked audio involved PM Shehbaz, interior minister Rana Sanaullah, defence minister Khawaja Asif, Minister for Economic Affairs Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and others and top of conversation is the PTI’s resignations.
In earlier audio, PM Shehbaz could be heard talking about PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz who is asking for the import of a power plant from India for her son-in-law.
In one of the leaked audios, Maryam Nawaz can be heard advising the PM to jack up the fuel prices although she had opposed hike in petroleum prices.She also complained about Finance Minister Miftah Ismail.
