LORALAI: A passenger vehicle collapsed into a ravine near Balochistan’s Qilla Saifullah area on Wednesday, killing at least 22 people, including five women and five children. A kid was also injured.
When the accident occurred near Akhtar Zai Adola turn, the passengers were travelling from Loralai to Zhob.
Medico-legal procedures and first aid were performed on the bodies and rescuers transferred the injured people to the hospital.
Number of tragic accidents in Balochistan has increased.
In February of this year, Dr Abdul Hayee Baloch, a venerable politician from the Baloch region and the founder of the National Democratic Party, was tragically killed in a car accident in which he was driving too fast and hit a pothole.
At the end of May, four members of a same family lost their lives in an accident in Bela, Balochistan’s Lasbela region, when a passenger bus collided with a vehicle.
Khuzdar, Pakistan, had a bus-trailer collision in January that killed at least six persons and wounded 14 more.
Last year, at least 19 people were killed and 50 were injured in a catastrophic traffic accident in Kohri near Khuzdar, Balochistan.
