ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will depart for Turkey tomorrow on a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and addressing regional developments, particularly in relation to Iran.
During his stay, PM Sharif is scheduled to hold high-level discussions with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The agenda is expected to focus on enhancing trade cooperation, deepening diplomatic relations, and navigating current geopolitical challenges.
In view of the visit’s significance, the federal cabinet meeting has been canceled, sources confirmed.
Officials have described the trip as strategically important amid rising tensions in the region.
