Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Sunday that Pakistan’s economy is nearing a revival thanks to the current government’s proactive efforts.
Renowned business figures from the United Kingdom met with the prime minister in Islamabad, where they agreed to strengthen business-to-business ties between Pakistan and the UK.
“The government’s top priority is to encourage foreign investment in Pakistan,” PM Shehbaz affirmed.
He added, “We are providing optimal support to business and trade communities through a one-window operation.”
PM also extended an invitation to the British delegation to invest in Pakistan.
The delegation praised PM Shehbaz’s initiatives aimed at fostering a robust economy in Pakistan.
PM Shehbaz Praises Qatar as ‘Second Home’
Recently, PM Shehbaz called Qatar his “second home,” thanking Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for inviting him to the country.
During his visit to Doha, PM Shehbaz celebrated the “Manzar: Pakistan Art and Architecture 1940 to Today” exhibition, noting, “This exhibition will showcase the cultures of Pakistan and Qatar.”
He added, “The exhibition underscores the strong bonds that Pakistan and Qatar share.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz also congratulated overseas Pakistanis in Qatar on the exhibition’s launch, and applauded Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar’s significant role in its success.
He remarked, “Pakistan has a rich 5,000-year-old cultural heritage, and the Qatar Museum is playing a key role in advancing cultural diplomacy.“
