Police Arrest Two Suspects from Boat Basin
Karachi police have arrested two alleged riders linked to the drug case involving Anmol, also known as Pinky.
The arrests were made by South Zone Police from the Boat Basin area on Thursday.
Police identified the suspects as Aqib and Ghulam Mustafa. Officials said both men allegedly worked for Pinkyโs gang.
Suspects Accused of Online Drug Delivery
According to police, the two riders were allegedly involved in delivering narcotics through online orders.
Officials said the suspects are being interrogated as investigators try to trace more members of the network.
The arrests come as the investigation into Pinkyโs alleged drug network continues to expand.
Digital Evidence Deepens Investigation
Investigators have reportedly recovered more than 100 GB of data from Pinkyโs mobile phone.
Sources said the recovered data included 75,000 photos and images. Hundreds of screenshots of online transactions and bank slips were also found.
Investigators also traced phone numbers of more than 13,000 people from the mobile phone data.
Earlier, a Karachi sessions court rejected the bail pleas of two co-suspects, Zeeshan and Sohail.
The court observed that available bank records and digital evidence were linked to the accused at this stage.
Pinkyโs arrest has raised fresh concerns about the spread of online drug supply networks in the city.
