Five Positions Announced Under Center of Excellence for CPEC
The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics has announced new employment opportunities for the Center of Excellence for CPEC under the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives.
A total of five vacancies have been announced under a Public Sector Development Programme project.
The positions cover policy development, economic research, administration and human resource management.
PIDE is seeking qualified professionals for senior policy roles as well as research and administrative positions.
The recruitment drive provides opportunities for experienced professionals and younger applicants seeking to work on projects connected with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Appointments will be made under different Project Pay Scale categories depending on the position.

Policy Heads, Research Associate and HR Positions Available
Two senior vacancies have been announced for policy leadership roles.
One position is available for Head of Policy for Regional Connectivity and Integration.
Another vacancy is available for Head of Policy for Socio-Economic Development.
Both positions fall under PPS 10 and 11.
The maximum age limit for applicants seeking these senior posts is 50 years.
Candidates applying for the Head of Policy positions must possess relevant higher education qualifications from a university recognised by the Higher Education Commission.
Relevant professional, policy and research experience will also be required.
PIDE has also announced one vacancy for Research Associate under PPS 7 and 8.
The maximum age limit for the Research Associate position is 35 years.
Applicants should hold an MS, MPhil or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
Candidates with previous research experience may receive preference during the selection process.
One position has also been advertised for Admin and HR Officer under PPS 7 and 8.
Applicants for this position must not be older than 40 years.
Candidates are expected to have relevant academic qualifications in fields such as Business Administration, Public Administration or related disciplines.
Relevant professional experience in administration and human resource management will also be considered.
Another vacancy is available for Assistant Admin and HR under PPS 5 and 6.
The maximum age limit for this position is 30 years.
The role is expected to support administrative and human resource functions within the CPEC project.
