Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced plans to expand its London operations, increasing flights between Pakistan and the United Kingdom to seven per week from October 27.
The national airline currently operates four weekly flights to London. Under the expanded schedule, PIA will add three services, allowing passengers to travel to the British capital every day.
Five Flights To Operate From Islamabad
PIA will operate five weekly London flights from Islamabad under the new schedule. The increase is expected to provide greater flexibility for passengers travelling between the federal capital and the United Kingdom.
The airline said the decision reflects growing passenger demand and increased confidence among travellers. Consequently, the additional services are expected to offer more convenient travel options for people flying between Pakistan and London.
The expanded schedule will also strengthen PIAโs presence on one of its key international routes. The airline is expected to cater to both business and leisure travellers seeking more frequent connections.
Two Weekly Flights From Lahore
In addition to the Islamabad services, PIA will operate two weekly London flights from Lahore. Together, the five Islamabad and two Lahore services will bring the airlineโs total London operations to seven flights every week.
The new schedule will take effect on October 27, marking an increase of 75% compared with PIAโs current four weekly services.
The expansion comes as the national carrier seeks to respond to rising demand for international travel. With daily operations, passengers from Pakistan will have more options when planning journeys to London.
PIAโs latest move is expected to improve connectivity between Pakistan and the UK while providing additional capacity on the popular route.
