New Petrol and Diesel Prices
Petrol prices have increased by Rs6.88 per litre.
The new petrol price is Rs391.22 per litre.
High-speed diesel has become Rs5.62 more expensive per litre.
The new diesel price is Rs421.45 per litre.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) determined the new ex-depot prices for September 17.
Global Oil Prices Drive Increase
The government said international crude oil and petroleum product prices remained elevated.
Global uncertainty has contributed to higher oil prices.
The increase in international petrol and diesel prices has affected domestic fuel prices.
The latest adjustment also reflects Platts rates, premiums and other relevant pricing factors.
The new prices will remain applicable from September 17, 2026.
