Pakistani director Meesam Naqvi has celebrated winning the Best Director award for ARY Digital’s popular drama Parwarish, dedicating the achievement to the cast, crew, family, friends and viewers who supported the project.
Taking to Instagram, Naqvi shared a collection of photographs showing him receiving the accolade. He accompanied the images with an emotional message reflecting on his connection with the drama and expressing gratitude for the recognition.
Naqvi said some productions remain close to filmmakers even after filming ends, describing Parwarish as one such project for him.

Expressing gratitude to Allah for the honour, the director stressed that the award represented the collective efforts of everyone involved in bringing the story to television.
“This one belongs to the entire team of Parwarish who believed in the story and helped bring it to life,” Naqvi wrote.
Moreover, he praised the drama’s cast and acknowledged his family and friends for supporting him throughout the production process.
The director also thanked audiences for giving Parwarish their “love and appreciation,” highlighting viewers’ role in the drama’s success.

Meanwhile, Naqvi specifically acknowledged Fahad Mustafa for his guidance and continued support during the project.
“Thank you, Boss, for your constant support and guidance,” he wrote in his Instagram message.
The award adds another achievement to Parwarish, which has also gained recognition for its music and performances.
Recently, actor and singer Samar Jafri, who plays Wali Jahangir in the drama, secured Best Singer and Song of the Year honours for “Mai Rahun,” a track from the Parwarish soundtrack.
Consequently, the latest recognition for Naqvi further highlights the production’s success across multiple categories, from direction and acting to music.
