Bollywood’s renowned actress Parineeti Chopra is celebrating the success of her Netflix series ‘Shaque: Trust No One.’ She celebrated it during a promotional media tour in Dubai.
The most attractive actress shared a series of photographs on Instagram showing her interacting with Dubai-based media representatives. She said the team was celebrating the show’s success while continuing promotional interviews in the UAE.
According to Chopra, ‘Shaque’ was still ranked No. 1 in the UAE while she was recording the interviews. She expressed her excitement over the response with a playful reaction to the achievement.
The thriller marks Chopra’s debut in the web-series space and represents an important new phase in her acting career. Netflix premiered the seven-episode series on September 24.
In the series, Chopra portrays Anvita, a mother whose newborn daughter disappears. Nine years later, she continues searching for answers while uncovering secrets surrounding the people closest to her.
The psychological thriller also features Jennifer Winget, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Soni Razdan, Anup Soni, Sumeet Vyas and Harleen Sethi.
Chopra previously discussed returning to acting after embracing motherhood. She said she does not want motherhood to prevent her from continuing her professional career and credited changing audience attitudes toward working mothers.
She also acknowledged the support of fellow actors Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in helping her navigate work after motherhood.
The Dubai media tour comes as ‘Shaque’ continues to attract attention following its Netflix release. The series has also marked Chopra’s first major acting project since her acclaimed performance in ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’.
