Palestine’s official social media account has highlighted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s emotional remarks about Palestinian children.
The remarks came during his address to the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.

Pakistan Reaffirms Support for Palestine
Shehbaz Sharif has repeatedly expressed Pakistan’s support for Palestinian rights at international forums.
During his UNGA address, he called for an independent, sovereign and viable Palestinian state.
Pakistan supports a Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
The prime minister also condemned the continuing violence affecting Palestinians and called for international action to protect civilians.
