BHAKKAR: Muhammad Ijaz, Pakistanโs tallest man who was living in Bhkkar, a district in Punjab, has passed away at the age of 42 years.
According to family members, Ijaz was suffering from a bone disorder. Muhammad Ijaz was eight foot two inches and Pakistanโs tallest man, his brother claimed.
His funeral prayer was offered today in his native village Thalla Sarain in Darya Khan area in Bhakkar district.

Second Tallest Man Soomro
Meanwhile, Naseer Sommoro, Pakistan’s second tallest man is also suffering from chronic lung disease. His height is seven feet and nine inches and after the death of Muhammad Ijaz, Soomro seems to be the tallest man in Pakistan now.
On September 18, the Sindh government had announced to bear the expenses of treatment of Pakistanโs second tallest man Naseer Soomro.

Taking notice of his ill health, Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho issued directives for his treatment at Agha Khan University Hospital, Karachi at the provincial governmentโs expense.
In 2018, Soomro, who hails from Sindhโs Shikarpur district, was put on a ventilator at a private hospital due to some breathing issues.
