ISLAMABAD: Two Pakistani startups — Haball and PostEx — have been named to Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch List 2025, earning international recognition for their innovation, growth, and potential to shape the region’s business future.
Forbes’ annual list highlights small and medium-sized businesses across the Asia-Pacific that demonstrate strong performance, creative solutions, and scalability.
Haball: Shariah-Compliant Digital Financing
Founded in 2017, Haball is a fintech startup offering digital payments and Shariah-compliant financing solutions for businesses. Its services include invoice management, taxation tools, and working capital support for SMEs.
So far, Haball has processed transactions exceeding $3 billion. In April 2025, the company raised $52 million in funding, with Meezan Bank — Pakistan’s largest Islamic bank — playing a leading role as an investor.
PostEx: Transforming E-Commerce Logistics
Established in 2020, PostEx has rapidly emerged as a key player in Pakistan’s e-commerce logistics and fintech sector. The company specializes in nationwide parcel deliveries and provides merchants with instant cash-on-delivery settlements — a significant innovation in Pakistan’s e-commerce ecosystem.
In 2022, PostEx expanded its reach by acquiring Call Courier and now operates in more than 500 cities across the country. With $7.03 million in funding raised so far, the startup is preparing to extend its services to the Middle East.
