Pakistani education technology startup Edversity has secured a strategic investment from Rapidev Group at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh.
The investment marks an important step in Edversity’s plans to expand its AI-powered education platform into Saudi Arabia, the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and other international markets.
The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during Saudi Arabia’s flagship technology and innovation event. The agreement focuses on collaboration in technology, education and workforce development.
Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Khawaja attended the signing ceremony.
Partnership to Support International Expansion
According to Edversity, the strategic partnership will give the startup access to additional capital, engineering capabilities, operational expertise and international business networks.
These resources are expected to support the company as it scales its education technology platform and expands its presence outside Pakistan.
Through BridgeStart Pakistan, Edversity has already received support for entering the Saudi Arabian market. The startup also participated in The Garage acceleration programme.
The programme helped Edversity connect with Saudi Arabia’s technology ecosystem. It also provided access to market opportunities, business networks and potential avenues for international growth.
Edversity Trains Thousands in Emerging Technologies
Founded in Pakistan in 2021, Edversity has received support from Ignite under the Ministry of IT and Telecom.
The startup says it has trained more than 12,500 learners in emerging technology fields. These include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data and blockchain.
Edversity has reported placement outcomes of more than 70% across selected cohorts.
The company said the investment demonstrates growing international confidence in Pakistan’s technology and education sector. It also highlights the potential of Pakistani startups to develop technology-driven solutions for global markets.
Rapidev Backs AI-Powered Education Platform
Rapidev said its strategic investment will support Edversity’s international expansion and the continued development of its AI-powered education platform.
The company described the MoU as an important step toward strengthening collaboration, encouraging innovation and creating new opportunities.
Edversity’s team participated in LEAP 2026, where it engaged with technology leaders and industry stakeholders on the future of AI education and workforce development.
The startup also exhibited alongside Rapics and Owlsense as part of the Rapidev Group of Companies.
LEAP 2026 was held in Riyadh from August 31 to September 3. The event brought together startups, investors, technology companies, policymakers and innovators from around the world.
Rapidev Group develops intelligent software and safe hardware, while its partnership with Edversity is expected to create new opportunities for AI-focused education and workforce development across international markets.
