A tragic incident occurred in the United States where Dr. Talat Jehan Khan, a Pakistani-American, was fatally stabbed in her Texas apartment.
According to reports from U.S. media, the assailant, a 24-year-old named Miles Joseph Fridrich, attacked the 52-year-old child specialist. Dr. Talat, a mother of two, was in Conroe, sitting with her dog when the alleged assailant, Miles Joseph Friedrich, carried out the knife attack.

Following the murder of Dr. Talat, the 24-year-old suspect was apprehended and charged with first-degree murder. The Conroe police indicated that the man in custody is accused of assaulting a doctor at the Ellis Apartments in Texas at approximately 12:30 p.m. before fleeing on foot.
Witnesses to the crime provided crucial information that led to the suspect’s arrest. In response to the distressing incident, a witness intervened after hearing the commotion, wielding a sword.
Dr. Talat Jehan Khan’s surviving family members include a 14-year-old daughter and a 23-year-old son. Mah Noor, the niece of the deceased, expressed her grief, describing her aunt as exceptionally kind and loving. She emphasized that this loss is deeply profound and completely unexpected for their family.
Dr. Talat, a professional pediatrician, had relocated from Seattle to the Houston area a few months prior to the tragic incident. She was reportedly beloved by numerous patients and her family. Her brother, Wajahat Niaz, shared that his sister had moved to the area from Seattle in July, seeking to enjoy the local climate, particularly the sunshine and warm weather, making it one of the main reasons for her relocation.
