Strong Warning Against Provocative Indian Statements
Pakistan’s military has issued a clear warning that any Indian aggression will be met with a “swift, decisive and destructive” response. The statement came after senior Indian defence officials made remarks described as “provocative and jingoistic,” raising serious concerns for regional stability.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the recent comments from India’s security leadership reflect an alarming trend of fabricating pretexts for confrontation. Pakistan’s military cautioned that such reckless narratives risk destabilizing an already fragile South Asian region.
ISPR Criticizes India’s “Victim Card” Strategy
The military’s statement emphasized that India has long benefitted from portraying itself as a victim while allegedly fueling violence across the region. Pakistan’s armed forces argued that India’s attempts to malign Pakistan have been debunked internationally, pointing to growing recognition of India as a source of cross-border terrorism.
“For decades, India has used the victim narrative to conceal its role in stoking conflict. However, the world is increasingly aware of its role in destabilizing South Asia,” the ISPR declared.
Reminder of Past Confrontations
The statement recalled earlier incidents that pushed both nuclear-armed nations to the brink of war. Pakistan highlighted recent hostilities, referencing India’s fighter jet losses and Pakistan’s demonstration of long-range strike capabilities.
“India seems to have forgotten the wreckage of its jets and Pakistan’s powerful response. This amnesia suggests a dangerous appetite for another confrontation,” the ISPR noted.
Warning of Catastrophic Consequences
Responding to recent comments by India’s Defence Minister and senior military commanders, Pakistan’s military delivered a stark warning.
“A future conflict could lead to cataclysmic devastation. Pakistan will not hold back in the face of aggression. Any hostile action will be met with full force, without hesitation or restraint,” the spokesperson warned.
Establishing a “New Normal” of Response
The ISPR stated that Pakistan has now established a “new normal” for its defence posture. Any future provocations will be answered with a response designed to inflict maximum cost on the adversary.
“In case of reckless aggression, Pakistan’s forces are prepared to respond in every corner of the enemy’s territory. The myth of geographic immunity will be shattered, as strikes will reach even the farthest regions of India,” the statement affirmed.
Pakistan’s military also rejected India’s threats of erasing Pakistan from the map, cautioning that such rhetoric risks mutual destruction.
Regional Stability at Stake
This latest exchange underscores the heightened tensions between two nuclear-armed neighbors. Pakistan has reiterated its resolve to defend its sovereignty, while warning that India’s aggressive posturing could lead to catastrophic outcomes for South Asia.
The ISPR stressed that peace and stability require restraint, yet Pakistan remains fully prepared to defend its territorial integrity against any hostile action.
