Attack in Chitral
ISLAMABAD: Interim Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti delivered a stern warning to those involved in the cross-border attack in Chitral from Afghanistan. Bugti delivered the message during a press conference in Islamabad.
Bugti stated, “It doesn’t matter who attacks us. For us, everyone who attacks us is a terrorist. We will respond to whoever attacks us, and our response will be seen, InshaโAllah.”

Security officials are patroling in Chitral after cross-border attack from Afghanistan.
Interior Minister, nonetheless, said that it was premature to establish involvement of Afghan Taliban in the attack.
Responding to a question, Bugti remarked, “It is premature to say whether Afghans were part of it or if there were only TTP members.”
He also reminded that the incumbent Afghan government had signed the Doha agreement. They are supposed not to allow their soil to be used against any country.
The cross-border attack took place on Pakistan’s Defence and Martyrs Day.
Meanwhile, according to the ISPR, “Terroristsโ movement and concentration in Gawardesh, Pitigal, Barg-e-Matel, and Batash areas of Nuristan and Kunar provinces of Afghanistan had already been identified and timely shared with the Interim Afghan government.” The statement hoped the interim Afghan Government would deny the use of Afghan soil by terrorists for perpetrating acts of terrorism against Pakistan.
On Saturday, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani confirmed that Pakistan had handed over a demarche to a senior Afghan diplomat. He said the attack had originated from the other side of the border.

He assured that visas would be readily available to businessmen, stating that these measures marked a new era for Pakistan.
Caretaker Foreign Minister announced that the government would grant long-term visas to the business community for their investments.
The caretaker government is actively working to resolve issues faced by foreign investors, Jilani stated.
He also highlighted the strengthening of Pakistanโs ties with the international and regional community in defense, politics, and economics.
