In a coordinated effort aimed at combating illicit activities at sea, the Pakistan Navy, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies, conducted a joint intelligence-based operation in the North Arabian Sea, resulting in the seizure of a substantial quantity of liquor valued at Rs145.6 million.
The operation, meticulously orchestrated through the Joint Maritime Information and Coordination Centre, saw the active participation of key stakeholders, including the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) and Pakistan Customs Intelligence. Through their combined efforts, a total of 4104 bottles of illicit liquor were successfully intercepted and confiscated.
Following the confiscation, the seized contraband was promptly handed over to Customs authorities for further legal proceedings, underscoring the commitment to upholding the rule of law and prosecuting offenders.
