The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) today advised the US citizens that fully-vaccinated people who have received recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) can travel to Pakistan while wearing a mask and also visit in indoor public places.
The CDCD, nevertheless, stated that the travelers may still be at risk for getting and spreading the Covid virus.
A total of 9 destinations – including Pakistan, Benin, China Falkland Islands, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Sierra Leone, Taiwan and Timor-Leste (East Timor) are in the “COVID-19 very low” Level 1 tier on the CDC’s travel recommendation list which assesses risk level for coronavirus infection by country.

Meanwhile, the CDC has forewarned the Americans against travel to a dozen countries in the “COVID-19 very high” Level 4 tier due to high rates of infection, such as Mexico, Brazil, Singapore, Ecuador, Kosovo, Philippines and Paraguay. It cautioned travelers to make sure that they are fully vaccinated before traveling to these destinations.

The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) urged the unvaccinated travelers to avoid nonessential travel to the Level 3 tier that includes India, Japan, Iran, Malaysia, Oman, Vietnam, Thailand, Brunei.
According to CDC, seven countries _ Bangladesh, New Zealand, Cameroon, El Salvador, Congo, Madeira Islands and Montserrat have been listed in the “COVID-19 moderate” Level 2 tier. However, unvaccinated travelers who are at increased risk for severe illness for Covid-19 should not undertake travel to the said category.
