ISLAMABAD: Pakistan today announced the cost of Hajj 2027 packages under the government’ scheme. The cost of one package is Rs 1.2 million while the second package involves Rs 1.3 million cost.
Pakistan has allocated 107,526 seats for Hajj 2027 under the Government Scheme. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf announced the details. The 40-day package will cost Rs1.2 million, while the 20 to 25-day package will cost Rs1.3 million.
The government has also digitalised the entire Hajj process through the Pak Hajj App and Hajj Portal.
Consequently, pilgrims can apply from home, pay dues and access services without unnecessary travel or long queues.
First instalment collection begins August 17
Under the approved policy, applicants must initially deposit 50 percent of their selected package cost.
The ministry will demand the second instalment during the first week of October.
Around 400,000 pre-registered pilgrims can now submit applications during the final registration phase.
Meanwhile, authorities have linked the system with the Passport Office to improve verification and speed up applications.
Habib Bank Limited will serve as the ministry’s authorised banking partner under a signed agreement.
Pilgrims can pay through OneLink PSID, credit or debit cards, or digital challans at Habib Bank branches.
Moreover, 30,000 seats remain reserved for the Short Hajj Scheme, with confirmations based on first-come, first-served payments.
The government has also allocated 71,684 seats for the Private Hajj Scheme.
Pilgrims can compare packages from 25 approved operators through official digital platforms.
The ministry warned pilgrims against making direct payments to private operators outside the government system.
