ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) today abolished the negative PCR test requirement for fully vaccinated passengers travelling to Pakistan.

The NCOC reviewed the inbound travel policy and decided to remove the pre-boarding negative PCR test requirement for fully vaccinated passengers while unvaccinated ones over 12 years old will be required pre-boarding negative PCR test 72 hours ago.
The NCOC said travellers below 12 years will be exempted from mandatory vaccination.
Travellers between 12 to 18 years of age will be allowed to travel without mandatory vaccination till March 31. Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) will be required on arrival for all unvaccinated deportees.
Pakistan’s coronavirus graph recorded a sharp dip Wednesday after the national positivity rate dropped to 2.95%.
Cities with a positivity rate below 10% have been allowed all types of gatherings and full attendance at gyms, cinemas, shrines, and amusements parks only for vaccinated people, according to the new guidelines of NCOC.
However, the cities where the positivity rate is above 10% will continue to observe the Covid-19 related restrictions.
