Punjab has reportedly made the B-Form number mandatory for registering students appearing in Grade 5 and Grade 8 board examinations.
According to reports, schools must now enter a valid B-Form number to complete a student’s registration. Without this information, the registration process will remain incomplete.
The new requirement aims to ensure accurate student records before board examinations.
Schools Must Update Student Records
According to the report, the registration system has automatically marked students who were previously registered without a B-Form number as unverified.
Authorities have instructed schools to update the records of all affected students immediately.
Teachers, head teachers, and registration in-charges must enter valid B-Form numbers to verify student information and complete the registration process.
Officials warned that schools cannot finalize registrations until they update the required details.
August 8 Deadline for Registrations
Authorities have reportedly set August 8 as the final deadline for accepting registrations.
Schools have been directed to complete all pending records before the closing date to prevent any disruption in the registration process.
Officials also urged educational institutions to verify every student’s information as early as possible to avoid last-minute complications during board exam registration.
