Pakistani actor Nimra Khan has shared how marriage helped her overcome anxiety about weight gain. Speaking during a recent talk show, she encouraged people to prioritize health over appearance. Moreover, she challenged unrealistic beauty standards often associated with the entertainment industry.
Nimra said many people focus on losing weight to fit into branded clothes. She added that few people pursue fitness for their own health and happiness. Therefore, she believes the conversation around wellness needs a healthier perspective.
Nimra Promotes Health Over Appearance
The actor also compared attitudes toward body image in Pakistan and other countries. She said many societies embrace different body sizes without encouraging body shaming. Consequently, she urged people to feel confident regardless of their clothing size.
Nimra admitted that changing metabolism has made fitness more challenging in her thirties. Previously, she often felt anxious about gaining weight and struggled with self-confidence. However, she said marriage brought emotional stability and a more positive outlook.
She revealed that her husband encouraged her to enjoy food without guilt. According to Nimra, he advised her to focus on happiness and overall well-being instead of weight.
Actor Shares Balanced Fitness Routine
Following his advice, Nimra now follows a structured and healthier daily routine. She begins each morning with workouts on an empty stomach. Her exercise plan includes skipping rope and solo Zumba sessions to improve fitness and mental clarity.
The actor also addressed her previously viral “egg diet,” which many fans attempted to follow. However, she admitted that the restrictive plan was neither sustainable nor healthy. She even said she could no longer follow the diet herself.
Instead, Nimra now recommends gradual lifestyle changes for lasting fitness results. Meanwhile, she advised people to attempt strict diets only under proper professional guidance and for specific short-term goals.
