Advocacy Group Opens Massive Archive Installation in Tribeca
A US transparency advocacy group has opened a temporary exhibition in New York featuring approximately 3.5 million pages of documents linked to financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The installation, titled โThe Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Reading Room,โ was created by the Washington-based non-profit Institute of Primary Facts. Organisers compiled and bound the records released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act into 3,437 separate volumes displayed across shelves inside a Tribeca venue.
According to the group, the exhibit aims to highlight the scale and significance of the released material. The organisationโs website states, โThe truth is hard to deny when itโs printed and bound for you to see.โ
Visitors interested in viewing the exhibition may register online for access. However, organisers restricted public consultation of the actual documents after the US Department of Justice reportedly failed to properly redact the names of some victims included in the files.
As a result, only selected professionals, including journalists and lawyers, may directly examine portions of the material under specific conditions.
Exhibit Highlights Trumpโs Past Relationship With Epstein
The exhibition also includes a separate display focusing on the long-standing relationship between President Donald Trump and Epstein, who died in federal custody in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges involving minors.
Meanwhile, project co-creator David Garrett said the initiative seeks to encourage broader public scrutiny over how the Trump administration handled the release of the files.
Garrett argued that officials faced growing accusations of attempting to conceal details concerning Trumpโs historical ties to Epstein. He added that the exhibition was designed to generate โreal public outcryโ regarding transparency surrounding the case.
The exhibit arrives amid continuing public debate over the handling of Epstein-related investigations, records, and political connections tied to the disgraced financier.
