Social media user alleges discovery of payment details
Fresh allegations have emerged in Pakistan’s ongoing Cambridge examination paper leak controversy after a Reddit user claimed to have uncovered payment information allegedly connected to the online sale of leaked examination papers.
According to details shared in a Reddit post, the individual said they posed as a potential buyer to gather information from a person allegedly offering leaked Cambridge examination papers for sale through online channels.
The user claimed that after expressing interest in purchasing the material, the seller shared banking information for payment purposes. According to the post, the account reportedly belonged to an individual identified as Mohammad Rashid.
Additionally, the Reddit user stated that the information was obtained through a Discord server that was allegedly being used to market and distribute leaked examination papers.
However, the claims circulating online remain unverified, and authorities have not officially confirmed the allegations.
Authorities face increasing calls for investigation
Meanwhile, the Reddit post also alleged that two individuals appeared to play significant roles in the operation. The user referred to them only by online aliases, including one account reportedly using the name “Wadeera” and another operating under the title “Cambridge paper.”
Furthermore, the post suggested uncertainty regarding whether the disclosed bank account belonged to a single person involved in the matter or represented a broader network.
Earlier reports had also indicated that leaked examination papers were allegedly being sold online for amounts ranging between Rs30,000 and Rs40,000 per paper.
Consequently, several examination papers have faced increased scrutiny in recent weeks. Educational authorities and Cambridge officials have also faced growing pressure to identify the source of the alleged leaks and determine accountability.
