New details have emerged in the murder case of 25-year-old Karachi businessman Mir Raza Ali. An Edhi volunteer who reached the scene described the condition of the victimโs body.
Edhi volunteer Mohsin Shah said police mobiles had already reached the location. He said bushes initially concealed the body from view.
Police and volunteers removed the bushes and found the victim had suffered a gunshot wound. Shah also said the body appeared to have chemicals thrown over it.
He said blood was flowing from a visible bullet wound after volunteers lifted the victimโs shirt. Police reportedly asked them to wait for senior officers before moving the body.
Volunteers Describe Victimโs Condition
Another volunteer, Javed, said the victimโs face had suffered severe damage. He said the skin appeared burned, making fingerprint collection difficult.
Meanwhile, the victimโs father has demanded immediate action against senior police officers. Mir Hussain specifically called for the suspension of DIG East Farrukh Lanjar.
Father Leads Protest for Justice
Mir Hussain led a protest rally from Tariq Road to Nursery. A large number of women and children also participated in the demonstration.
Addressing protesters, Hussain accused police officials of delaying the investigation. He alleged that officers attempted to hide evidence and misled the family for two days.
He also demanded the suspension of the Ferozabad police station SHO. Hussain said DIG East had not contacted the family since his sonโs death.
The allegations have intensified calls for accountability and a transparent investigation. Authorities have yet to publicly respond to the familyโs demands.
